W21 - Boeckman

Edward Boeckman Milk Hauling was established in 1941 by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boeckman.  At that time, milk was hauled in gallon cans to the Breese Farmers Milk Plant where it was cooled, then hauled by trailer to the Sealtest Milk Plant in St. Louis, Mo. In 1954 they started hauling milk from bulk tanks from the local farms directly to the dairy.

More information on this business as well as other business and more can be found in the 2006 Breese Sesquicentennial Pictorial History book which is available from the Breese Historical Society.
